Hydrosols are created by steam distilling. In this process, the steam allows the cell walls of the plant material to break down and release its oil content. It is then cooled causing the steam to turn to water and the oil to float to the top. Thus, leaving behind two products; essential oil and hydrosol.

Set your makeup. Give yourself a dewy look when you’re finished applying your makeup and set it with some hydrosol.
Hello, makeup remover. It's refreshing and helpful. Next time you go to remove your makeup ditch your chemical or heavy oil-based remove and go for all-natural, lightweight hydrosol. Spray some on a reusable cloth and wipe your makeup away.
Facial mask D-I-Y. Next time you make a facial mask, and it says water, switch it out for a hydrosol. It's great for customizing your mask for what you need.
Perfume. Why go chemical-based when you can go natural? Spritz as normal and enjoy the wonderful aroma they provide.
